About Audrey Moni
I grew up in Africa and came to America in search of a better life and better opportunities. My biggest challenge was that I did not know the language of the country where I was to reside. The journey was long and hard and after a lot of reality TV and an endless game of charades, here I am today not only able to speak English but also to write it well.
Let me walk you through my process and let’s have you out in these streets sounding like a Parisian with a baguette.

In the course of my life I have met a lot of different people at their various stages in the French language.
Some that already knew but had not spoken in so long that they were forgetting the basics, others who had learned how to write but didn’t know how to pronounce the words the correct way. Some even that had learned it in high school but wished they had paid more attention, and then there are those who Duolingo did not help whatsoever.
I am here to practice with you how to have a full conversation as a native French speaker, whether you’re just starting or are at an intermediate level.
My lessons will involve talking about different subjects related to todays society, music, art, movies, pop culture reading very simple books and discussing them. Some light writing and discussion threads with other people (when comfortable).
If there are any topics you would rather not talk about, please be sure to let me know and we’ll move on to something else.
I am the person that you’ve always said to your friends “oh man! I just wish I had someone to practice with. I can feel my French fading away”.
