About Clara

My name is Clara—my father is French, my mother Australian, and I grew up in France before moving to the UK for university 15 years ago. I’ve mostly lived in London but have been working in Bristol since 2022. I love learning and teaching languages—I’m currently learning three myself! I’ve enjoyed tutoring ever since I spent two hours helping a friend master her French ‘R’ at uni and saw how rewarding it is to help someone gain confidence in a new language.

About the lesson

Coucou! I'm a native French speaker who completed my schooling in France and have been living in the UK for 15 years. Whether you're a total beginner or looking to refine your fluency, I offer personalised lessons to suit your goals. I use a mix of structured textbook learning (my favourites are Assimil and Cortina, but we can work to your preferred method) and practical conversation to build confidence and real-world language skills. Lessons for adults are one hour, while children's sessions are 40 minutes—flexible and designed to fit individual learning styles. All ages and levels welcome! Whether you need help with grammar, pronunciation, or just want to practise chatting, I’ll tailor our sessions to what works best for you. Get in touch to start your journey to French fluency!
