About Franziska
For me, tutoring started as mini job in high school, and turned into a passion for helping others grow. Specifically during university abroad, language and writing became my focus.
Due to studying abroad, I know how different classroom knowledge is from everyday usage. For both, foreign languages, but also written language. This has shaped the way I teach: Language is a tool to communicate, and I want my students to be able to communicate what they wish.
As I moved to the UK in mid-2026, I now wish to continue my teaching journey here.

As both an avid language learner and tutor, I've found that learning works best with a clear use in mind.
That's why I tailor my lessons towards you. What do you want to use German for? Everyday conversation, travelling, studying abroad, or even for confident usage at work.
I use a text as a starting point. This depends on interests and goals and may be self-written, an online article, excerpts from books etc. What matters is: it will be authentic German material adapted to become an exercise for vocabulary, grammar, reading, speaking, or even discussing.
In our first free get-to-know session, we'll talk about your level, interests and goals. From there, I'll prepare materials that give you a clear focus to your goals.
