About Midori
こんにちは！
Hello, my name is Midori, and I am a native Japanese speaker from the US. Growing up, I have always spoken Japanese at home, as well as having the experience of attending Japanese school every weekend and spending time studying in Japan.
Having grown up in a Japanese-American environment, I have always held my Japanese heritage as an important part of my identity, and I am excited to share my knowledge and love of the Japanese language and culture with you!

Whether you are interested in Japanese because of anime, Japanese culture, travel, or simply want to learn a new language, I would love to help you get started and develop your confidence in Japanese.
My lessons will typically be around one hour and can focus on everyday conversation, listening, speaking, writing, pronunciation, and practical Japanese for travel. I am happy to adapt the lessons to your individual level, interests, and goals.
As a native Japanese speaker who grew up in the United States, I speak Japanese at home and attended Japanese school throughout my childhood. I hope that through our lessons, you will not only develop your Japanese language skills but also gain a deeper understanding of Japanese culture.
