About Yurim
Hello! I am a native Korean speaker who has called Australia home for nearly 10 years. My journey living abroad and my background in the hospitality industry have given me a unique perspective on the world. I’ve spent years working in diverse environments, meeting people from every corner of the globe, which has taught me the true value of cultural empathy and patience.
I understand that everyone learns at their own pace and comes from a different cultural background. Because of this, I am a naturally patient and positive person who truly enjoys the process of understanding others. I don’t just want to be your teacher; I want to be your supportive friend who helps you navigate the beauty of the Korean language while celebrating our differences. If you are looking for a tutor who is encouraging, culturally aware, and genuinely invested in your progress, I would love to meet you!

As a native Korean speaker, I offer more than just definitions—I provide the cultural context and "real-world" nuances that textbooks often miss.
While I am a new tutor on this platform, I am a highly dedicated preparer. I treat every student’s goals as my own. I bring a fresh, high-energy perspective and a commitment to researching the best teaching tools specifically for your learning style. I have spent years informally helping friends navigate Korean culture and language, and I am excited to bring that same "best friend" support to your learning journey!
