About Ginny
I am a native Korean speaker currently studying Youth Education and Counselling at university.
I previously worked as a foreign teacher recruiter in Korea and in airline customer support in Australia, so I have experience communicating with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
I can explain Korean clearly in English, but I also want to support students beyond the language itself. I am happy to help you understand Korean culture, everyday life, manners and natural expressions, so you can feel more confident and connected to Korea throughout your learning journey.
I aim to be not only a Korean tutor, but also a supportive guide as you discover the language and culture.

My lessons are based on Korean government recognised materials, that have been certified and tailored to suit each student’s level, goals and interests.
I teach from complete beginner level, including Hangul and pronunciation, up to approximately B2. Lessons can focus on grammar, vocabulary, conversation, reading, writing or a combination of these depending on your needs.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes and includes explanation, guided practice, conversation and review. I aim to keep lessons structured but flexible, so students can build a strong foundation while also practising Korean in a practical and natural way.
Lessons are suitable for teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to intermediate learners.
