About Xueying

Hello! My name is Xueying, I am a native Mandarin speaker with a passion for helping others explore and master the Chinese language. As a native Mandarin speaker with Putonghua Proficiency Test (PSC) – Level 2, Grade A(equivalent to advanced proficiency in Mandarin Chinese; required qualification for teachers and broadcasters in China), I provide an authentic learning experience, including correct pronunciation, cultural insights, and real-life language usage. I offer online lessons with flexible times to fit your schedule.

About the lesson

As a native Mandarin speaker, my teaching approach is highly interactive and tailored to the individual needs of each student. For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation in pronunciation (tones) and basic grammar. For intermediate and advanced learners, I provide structured lessons to improve fluency, vocabulary, and writing skills. I adapt my teaching methods to match the student’s learning style. Lesson Length: A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I’m happy to adjust the duration based on the student’s preferences and schedule. My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults. Whether you’re learning Mandarin for travel, work, exams, or personal interest, I can customise the lessons to meet your goals.
