About Shu

Solid pedagogical knowledge, combined with four years of frontline tutoring, shapes all my Mandarin instruction. Clear, measurable progress targets can be established for students working towards official HSK examinations. Too many learners struggle to balance grammar, writing and oral practice without personalised guidance. Beyond academic results, strong emphasis is placed on cultivating natural communication skills that function in real-world Chinese-speaking contexts.

About the lesson

Structured 25-minute online Mandarin tuition is available for learners ranging from new starters to those working towards official HSK qualifications.
Custom curricula cover pronunciation, character reading, written composition and practical communication skills.
Four years of frontline teaching experience alongside a Master of Teaching inform all lesson design, moving beyond monotonous textbook routines.
Clear, achievable milestones are set together with students, ensuring steady progress whether learning for academic, professional or personal interests.

The teacher taught very well. The content was easy to understand, patient, attentive, and understanding of the students' shortcomings. Students improved quickly and didn't feel uncomfortable at all.

I had actually Shu through LinkedIn and we became good friends very quickly. She is very polite, kind and very understanding. She always looks for new experiences and challenges not just to help herself but also to help others grow with her. She is very knowledgeable and very easy to understand and is always open to learning new things. These are just some of her best qualities and she would make a great teacher as she has experience and also has met many different people from different countries.
