About Ângela
I am a Portuguese native speaker (PT), and IB graduate (IB English Language and Literature, IB Italian ab initio). I studied Portuguese in Portugal until I was 16 years old and moved to the UK. Currently, I am studying Biomedical engineering at the University of Warwick and I have worked part-time at a nursery. I have always loved reading and teaching, and recently got the grade 8 in Harp.

Perfect! I have had 10 lessons with Angela, the lesson structure is well thought out and challenging. New topics always incorporate previous learnings which helps greatly. Angela has a technique for teaching that encourages you to try without feeling self-conscious. I find that the hour passes by extremely quickly and at the end you feel quite exhausted but very positive.
Excellent! Personable style, supportive and patient with a newcomer to formal learning of Portuguese
Perfect! Ângela is a truly legendary tutor. Her well-organised lessons make learning easy and enjoyable, while her invaluable advice propels students forward. She understands the challenges of acquiring a new language and provides guidance that makes the journey far less daunting. I wholeheartedly recommend her; she is exceptional. Ángela genuinely cares for her students and represents a profound investment in the development of your linguistic assets.
Perfect! Ângela is a fantastic, intelligent tutor with a lot of patience & skill. I have already learnt an awful lot in the short space of time we’ve had together. I can’t wait to continue on this learning journey and I couldn’t ask for anyone better to help me along with it. Obrigado Ângela.

Very good teacher, very professional and informative
I'm so happy to be able to recommend Angela, who taught my son Portuguese as a second language. Angela is an amazing teacher! Throughout the lessons, she showed great competence and dedication, always adapting the content to suit my son's learning needs and pace. Her approach was so patient and welcoming, creating a safe and motivating learning environment. My son always felt at ease to practise and improve his Portuguese, which is a direct result of the engaging and attentive way in which the lessons were conducted. Angela has a remarkable ability to teach and make learning enjoyable – I couldn't recommend her more!Ângela is a very hardworking and focused person. I met her in university and her ability to break down topics and make you grasp them has been very unique and organic. Being a native Portuguese speaker, she is great in her lessons and conveying the importance and essence of Portuguese
