About Anastasia
I'm a native Russian speaker from St. Petersburg, Russia. I have a master's degree in Culture Studies from St. Petersburg State University of Cultures and Arts, which gave me a strong foundation in culture and language studies. Passion for Teaching: I'm deeply passionate about Russia, its culture, and language. Teaching Russian is not just a job for me; it's a mission to share the beauty of my language and culture with others. Continuous Learning: I visit Russia every year to stay updated on language and culture developments. I also attend workshops and masterclasses to improve my teaching skills. Experience: I have 1 year of experience teaching Russian to non-native speakers. This experience has helped me understand my students' unique challenges and tailor my teaching to their needs. With me as your tutor, you'll learn Russian in a way that's engaging and tailored to your goals.

My Teaching Approach:
I believe learning Russian should be fun and engaging. I make lessons lively and immersive, so you enjoy the journey of language acquisition.
What a Lesson Looks Like:
During our lessons, we balance speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities. We start with a warm-up to get you in the groove. Then, we explore new words and grammar with a focus on practical use. I encourage open conversations and use real Russian materials like news articles and videos. You'll often get homework to practice what you've learned.
What Makes Me Unique:
As your Russian tutor, I can relate and offer helpful tips to overcome language hurdles. I bring a mix of cultures to the table, helping you understand Russian customs and culture. My teaching is flexible, so you get personalized support.
Who My Lessons Are For:
I welcome students at all levels. Whether you're just starting or want to enhance your conversational skills or reach fluency, my lessons are customized to your needs.
