About Laura

Hello! My name is Laura, and I am a native Spanish speaker originally from Uruguay, now based in Toronto. I am bilingual and have personally experienced what it means to learn a second language as an adult, which allows me to understand my students’ challenges and fears.

I am patient, organized, and committed to creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment. My goal is to help students build confidence step by step while making learning enjoyable and practical. I believe that consistency, encouragement, and clear structure are the keys to success in language learning.

About the lesson

Learning a new language as an adult can feel intimidating — I understand that because I’ve experienced it myself. My Spanish lessons are designed especially for adult beginners who want to feel confident speaking from the very first class. I focus on practical vocabulary, real-life conversation, and clear explanations that make grammar simple and approachable. My classes are structured, relaxed, and personalized to your goals, whether you want to travel, connect with family, or simply enjoy learning a new language. You will feel supported, encouraged, and motivated every step of the way.
