About Andrea

Hello, I am Andrea. I am a prospective Neuroscience student, who finished her A levels last year in Spanish, Sociology, Biology and Chemistry (achieved grades A*ABB). I have had over 8 months of experience tutoring Biology A level students. I have had 3 brilliant students, who taught me a lot about being a teacher and the best ways to help them.

Spanish is my native language, I was born in Venezuela and moved to the UK three years ago. I believe during my Spanish A level, I gained the skills to become a well-rounded Spanish speaker. I am very eager to use my knowledge to help those interested in this amazing language.

About the lesson

I have taught sixth form students. However, I welcome students from any level. I structure my lessons around the topics that my students consider they struggle with the most. It wasn't too long ago since I was a student myself, so my best characteristic is that I use my personal experience to make sure I am meeting my student's needs. I like to get to know them and the methods that work for each of them, and then adapt my lesson plans to what would be most effective.
