About Monica
I've been teaching English to English learners for 25 years but I also have strong foundations to teach my language - as it isn't just being a native speaker, but having the knowledge of what teaching a language is and the grammatical and cultural foundations to do so. There is not a "one shoe size fits all", so it is important to get to know my students, their learning style, interests, needs, and goals in learning a language.

I trace a plan according to the student's proficiency level and learning goals. I use an interactive method where the student's interests and learning style will be considered in order to emphasize on vocabulary and receptive/expressive skills (oral and written).
I will do online but will also do in person to one or small group if in the area, meeting in a place agreed upon conversation.
