**Thematic Units**: Lessons are structured around practical and relatable themes (like dining out, family, hobbies). This contextual learning helps students grasp functional language use.
- **TPR (Total Physical Response)**: Especially effective with younger learners, this involves physical activity to teach language, making the learning experience more engaging.
- **Role-playing**: Simulates real-life situations where students can practice Mandarin in a controlled yet dynamic environment.
- **Technology Integration**: Use of apps, online resources, and multimedia to enhance learning and provide diverse content.
- **Scaffolding**: Gradually building on students’ existing knowledge and skills, making sure new concepts are thoroughly understood.
Each lesson typically lasts between 45 to 60 minutes. This duration is optimal to cover new material comprehensively while retaining the learner's attention and allowing time for practice and interaction.
- Over 1 year of experience in teaching Mandarin to students from various age groups and cultural backgrounds.
- Extensive experience in creating tailored educational content and utilizing digital tools for language learning.
My lessons are tailored to a wide range of students:
- **Age**: Children (6+ years old), Teenagers, and Adults
