About Zeynep

I'm a Turkish-born Brooklynite looking to help folks looking to learn my native language.

I know what it's like to learn a language at various ages as I learned English and Frech simultaneously over the years. I hope to bring all I've learned from these experiences to our sessions.

About the lesson

I'm a career educator interested in liberatory education practices. In my lessons, we will use visual, auditory, and sensory elements to create a holistic knowledge of the Turkish language.

As a tutor, I bring all my materials and meet you where you need whether that is my apartment, a coffee shop, or a park. How do you learn best? Do you need a quiet space or the ability to sit flexibly? We can make that happen!

I'm happy to teach anyone from preschool ages to adults as my education work so far has ranged in age groups.

I'm currently a professor at Baruch College and a freelance theater practitioner.
