About Isidro
Many people struggle to acquire the pronunciation of foreign languages, and that's completely normal! Pronouncing new phonemes is very challenging, especially when no one has ever explained them to you or how they are articulated. The first step is to understand them, hear them, and distinguish them. Only then can you learn to pronounce them.
And that's where I come in! With my passion for phonetics and phonology and my knowledge of different phonological systems, I aim to help my students acquire and pronounce the sounds of foreign languages. These are not general Spanish lessons from scratch. Instead, they focus specifically on Spanish sounds, designed for those who already have some command of the language—at any level—and want to sound like true native speakers.

My lessons are specifically designed for foreigners who want to learn Spanish pronunciation with a native speaker. I pay close attention to each student's preferences, abilities, and difficulties in order to adapt the teaching approach to their individual needs.
The methodology is simple: after a free first class, where we get to know each other and discuss the learning goals, we will begin by carefully reviewing the entire Spanish phonological system to understand it better. At the same time, we will learn to pronounce each of the existing sounds. Although the lessons will include some theoretical aspects, they will primarily be highly practical.
I will always provide resources and exercises that students can use to continue practicing on their own.
