About Samara
15 years of experience. Bachelor’s degree in Portuguese and Spanish from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, with a Master’s degree in Hispanic Literatures from the same university.
Passionate about languages from a young age, I decided to dedicate my life to teaching. I have extensive experience teaching my language and culture to foreigners, as well as Spanish.

My lessons are communication-focused. From the very beginning, students are encouraged to speak Portuguese, build their confidence, and gradually overcome any fear or hesitation about communicating in the language.
I create and adapt my own teaching materials according to each student’s needs, goals, and level. All materials are provided so students can review the content and study independently between lessons.
My goal is to support students throughout their learning journey, from A1 to C2. We follow a gradual progression of vocabulary and grammar while developing the four essential language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
I also offer conversation lessons for students who already speak Portuguese and want to improve their fluency. In addition, I offer Portuguese for travel and business Portuguese, tailored to the student’s specific needs.
