About Orla
Hi, I'm Orla - a native British English teacher from Bristol in the UK, now living in Cairo, Egypt. Having lived in Egypt for almost 2 years and teaching countless Arab learners, I understand many of the common challenges students face when learning English and I explain things in a clear, patient and encouraging way, translating wherever I can if needed.
I am a Cambridge CELTA-qualified English teacher with 2 years of experiencing teaching one-to-one privately online, as well as teaching in a university in Egypt. I specialise in helping students speak more naturally and confidently in English through relaxed, supportive lessons focused on real communication.
