About KNICOLA
I am a Retired Navy Veteran who has taught English for 26 years. I have taught in the US and in Japan. I hold a BS in HR Management and a MA in HR Development. I have taught over 1800 adults and children. I am well rounded have taught in the school setting and in an informal setting. My specialty is providing lessons plans geared specifically to the students learning style and their goals for learning English. I believe that learning transfer is achieved when the students have confidence in themselves. My "classroom" teaching style is fun and innovative; the more interesting the lesson, the more motivated the student is to learn.

My teaching method varies and is based on the student(s). I like to find out their reason for learning English and build the lessons around that. After each lesson they are able to leave the "classroom" with tangible knowledge that they can use immediately. All lessons are built singularly with the option to be continuous. I have taken students who didn't speak or understand one word of English to 100 percent fluency.
