About Stephanie

Hi there! I’m Stephanie, and I’ve been teaching for several years now. My journey began teaching English to high school students, many of whom had learning disabilities. This experience taught me how to be patient, creative, and flexible in my teaching. I learned how to adjust my lessons to each student’s unique needs, making sure they felt confident and understood.

What I love most about teaching is the connection I build with my students. Many of them became my friends, and they often reached out to me for advice when they moved to Quebec. Whether it was about finding their way around the city or adjusting to Canadian life, I was always happy to help.

I believe learning should be fun and supportive. I take the time to really listen to my students and make sure they feel comfortable and confident. My goal is to help you succeed, whether you're learning French for work, school, or just because you love languages. With me, you’ll always feel encouraged and understood every step of the way.

I can’t wait to help you on your language journey!

About the lesson

As a tutor, I always focus on my students' level and individual needs. My methodology is based on a step-by-step approach that pushes students forward while revisiting past lessons to reinforce retention. I design activities tailored to your goals, whether you're learning French for work, study, or personal enrichment. I emphasize not just language skills but also cultural understanding, offering insights into Quebec life and customs.

A typical lesson might start with a quick review, followed by interactive activities—role plays, discussions, and listening exercises—designed to keep you engaged and challenged. I also like to incorporate multimedia tools to enhance your learning experience.

What sets me apart is my passion for teaching and for the city of Montreal. I’m dedicated to helping students achieve their goals while having fun along the way. I’m particularly suited for learners who are motivated and want to make real progress, whether you're a beginner or at an intermediate level. My ability to connect French with other languages I speak—English, Portuguese, and Spanish—helps make the learning process smoother and more relatable.

Whether you're aiming for fluency or need French for a specific purpose, my lessons are for anyone ready to learn, grow, and enjoy the journey!
