You might have a text that interests you so you email it to me a week in advance so I can prepare my approach. I might create a vocabulary sheet, and grammatical points with possible exercises. I will ask you to read in French, only few sentences at first. I believe pronunciation is very important and I will correct you as kindly as possible until you get the sounds right to be understood by French speakers. If they understand you, you will more likely get what you want. It can be difficult at first but it can be rewarding when you become easily understood. This prepares you for the following part: you need to practice speaking with me.
