About Kaia
About Me
Hi! My name is Kaia, and I have had a lifelong passion for animals and learning. I grew up in a small town, where I have been surrounded by pets my entire life. This early connection with animals is what inspired me to pursue a path in veterinary care.
I am a certified VMR and VTA, and I am currently continuing to build my knowledge and experience in the field. Alongside my academic journey, I have been heavily involved in leadership and extracurricular activities. I was the president of my 4-H club, where I developed strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills while working closely with animals and my community.
I have also been a full-time student athlete for the past four years and have been involved in sports since I was 5 years old. Through athletics, I have built discipline, time management, and perseverance—skills that I bring into both my studies and my tutoring.
As a tutor, I am friendly, supportive, and patient. I understand that learning new material can sometimes feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and growing their understanding. I am passionate about helping others succeed, especially those pursuing a career working with animals.

Online Veterinary Assistant Tutoring
My teaching approach is student-centered, supportive, and adapted for online learning. I focus on breaking down complex veterinary concepts into clear, simple steps using digital tools such as shared notes, visuals, and screen sharing.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s learning style, whether they prefer visual learning, discussion, or step-by-step practice. My goal is to create an encouraging online environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating.

As a certified Veterinary Assistant (VTA), I provide both theoretical knowledge and practical insight into the field. I specialize in helping students understand challenging topics like veterinary terminology and foundational concepts in a way that is clear and manageable.
I create a friendly, supportive online space where students can learn without pressure. I also provide personalized notes, study tips, and exam preparation support, helping students feel more confident and prepared.
