About Kinneret
I’m a neuroscience master’s graduate with years of tutoring experience working with students in special education, college-level courses, student athletes, and hard science subjects. I tutor psychology, English, academic writing, and Hebrew, and focus on breaking down complex material in a clear, supportive way. Stemming from my background in special education, my teaching approach is student-centered and skills-based. I focus on understanding how each student learns and tailor my instruction accordingly. Rather than memorization, I emphasize conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and clear communication.
For psychology, I break down theories and research into accessible frameworks and connect them to real-world examples.
For English and writing, I focus on structure, argument development, clarity, and voice, helping students express ideas with confidence.
For Hebrew, I emphasize comprehension and practical use, balancing grammar with conversational and reading skills.
Across all subjects, I use guided questioning, active recall, and step-by-step modeling to help students learn how to think through problems independently.
