About Polly
I am a first year neuroscience student at the University of Bristol. I had a huge passion for psychology at college - Learning the ins and outs of how our minds work during A-Level inspired me! I also thoroughly enjoy teaching others and adjusting my skillset to each individual need of a student so that they can achieve the grade they strive for. I have enjoyed tutoring for years, having tutored GCSE biology throughout college.

- I use techniques such as flashcards, PowerPoints, blurting, and mind maps to foster memorisation of content, as well as encouraging further reading to boost AO3 marks.
- Lessons can be anywhere from 1-2 hours
- I tutored other A-Level psychology students (both year 12 and 13) alongside my own studies. From mocks to actual exams, everyone I tutored managed to climb at least 2 grades (i.e. C->A)
- My lessons are for year 12 and 13 students, or anyone else who is taking AQA A-Level psychology in 2027/2028

Polly tutored me in Psych for my last year of A-Levels. She really helped me understand the course, and her essay plans were super helpful! She helped me the most with inferential stats, which I used to really struggle with, and planning 8 and 16 markers! I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for some extra support in Psych :)
such a lovely girl!! helped me with all my psychology revision leading up to my exams which i previously had found difficult to handle by myself! owe my place at uni to her xx
