About Sofya

Hi there!
I'm a logistics coordinator and marketing specialist by profession.
In my free time, I love hanging out at the library, studying languages, diving into astronomy, and exploring all sorts of new subjects.
I’m always on the lookout for exciting hobbies, and I enjoy writing poems too.
I’m currently learning to play the guitar as my second instrument!

I have experience in teaching, since the age of 15. I taught math to children aged 4-6 in a fun, interactive way. We used the abacus to help improve critical thinking and problem-solving skills, focusing on simple addition and subtraction. I always listen to my students’ needs and observe how they prefer to learn, so I can adapt my teaching methods to suit each student. I create personalized programs that are designed to motivate and support students, rather than overwhelm them.

I truly believe that everyone has potential, and the best way to unlock it is by offering information in a way that fits each person’s unique way of learning.

For our first session, I’ll assess your skill level and we’ll chat about why you want to take English lessons. Based on your goals—whether it's language learning, preparing for the IELTS, or even songwriting—the program will be tailored to fit your needs.

I love making each lesson creative and engaging to keep both kids and adults motivated and excited to learn. My lessons are perfect for any age and typically last 45 minutes, with flexibility to extend or shorten depending on the topic.
