About Tilde
I am a newly graduated student of almost 19 years, who previously studied physics at Polhemskolan in Lund. I have an average of 22.5.
I take my teaching as seriously as possible and I want to help students reach their potential, no matter what prerequisites they have.
Teaching is something I very much enjoy, and I'm glad to see the students' progress and improved results.

When I teach, I use many different methods to make teaching fun and varied. I focus mostly on understanding different concepts, not just knowing formulas.
For me, it is also important that the student is involved in the teaching, by e.g. asking questions if he/she does not understand something and getting practice problems to solve. Based on the latest research, it is also evident that active learning is better than passive learning and therefore I often ask students questions to check that they have understood the content.
I am also using different study techniques which increase understanding and make you remember the content better, which I am happy to share with my students.
During online tutoring, interactive whiteboards are used to explain different concepts, as I believe that you often understand concepts better if you illustrate them with a picture.
The lessons can last from 60-120 minutes, but depending on how much help a student needs and what difficulties the student has in the subject, more or less time may be needed.
Over the years, I have tutored many students and I am also used to helping children with autism with their homework. First and foremost, I offer homework help for children in upper secondary school or high school.
I believe that everyone has the opportunity to get good grades if they receive the right support and if they have a good study technique.
