About Colby
I am a teacher. I have taught Social Studies, English, Math, Agriculture, Science, Robotics, and Woodworking. I've won multiple awards in journalistic photography (Gold Crown, Pacemaker, Gloria Shields). I currently shoot weddings and teach students in Kansas Nature and Journalistic Photography.

I like to approach the basics of photography, as well as theories of good composition. I also go over the basics and the advanced skill sets of photoshop, how to adjust shutter speed and exposure for the effect you desire, and basic editing of digital photography. I will use examples of my own work to demonstrate the principles discussed.
