About Noor
Hello! My name is Noor and I am a senior at Carmel High School. I am an NHS student tutor for any students at my school, I am also a GKOM, which means that I am a new & incoming freshman mentor (basically guiding them throughout their first year of high school). For STEM classes, I believe in practice teaching, my point is to go over many different problems (whether you have your own, or I have to create some) in order to master the situation. We won't move on until mastery is learned with the primary skills first, then we will go on to complex questions. For classes that are literature or essay focused (Ex: Seminar), we will go over an essay / prompt that you have trouble on and depending on the tone / flow you want to have, we will create an improved essay!

Noor was the one teacher I could go to whenever I needed help who didn’t make me feel dumb about not knowing something. I felt very clam and safe around her. Noor is also such a reliable person and I know whenever I needed her she would always be there. I have never felt so heard and appreciate with any teacher until her.
Noor adapts well to students’ needs and explains concepts very clearly in a step-by-step process. She is very patient and kind which makes it easier for students to understand concepts without getting overwhelmed. She has always loved math and does very well in her math classes at school. She also has experience in tutoring for school.
