About Eilif
I’m a native Norwegian speaker currently living in Canberra, with a strong interest in languages and cultural exchange. Having studied several languages myself, I understand the challenges learners face and aim to make the process clear, approachable, and encouraging.
I speak Norwegian, English and German, and I enjoy working with students from different backgrounds. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and flexible, and I adapt each lesson to your goals, level, and pace. Whether you're learning for travel, work, studies, or personal interest, I focus on helping you build real confidence through practical skills and clear explanations.

As a native Norwegian speaker with a strong interest in communication and language learning, I offer lessons that are relaxed, engaging, and tailored to your goals. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, I adapt each session to your level, pace, and preferred learning style.
Depending on your needs, our lessons can focus on:
- Conversational Norwegian for everyday situations
- Grammar and sentence structure made simple and clear
- Pronunciation practice to help you sound natural and confident
- Cultural insights about Norway, customs, traditions, and daily life
- Preparation for travel, studies, or moving to Norway
Lessons are typically 45 minutes long, but I’m happy to adjust the length or format to suit your preferences. My lessons are open to learners of all levels and ages, and I can teach both in English and Norwegian to support your understanding.
