About Aiko
Coffee and animal lover, born and raised in Osaka, Japan. With Japanese mother and American father, I had a chance to be surrounded in both English and Japanese language since I was little. *Native in Japanese, English is my second language
With genuine interests in other cultures, I have lived abroad as an exchange student in Melbourne when I was high school, and also studied at university in Sweden for 2 years .
I love meeting people from other cultures with different languages, and introducing Japanese culture.
Since graduating from one of the top universities in Japan, I have 8 years of experience working in a management / IT consulting firm using Japanese as primary working language, so if you need help with business speaking and writing, please contact me for details!

Hi! I’m a native Japanese speaker based in Perth. I support Year 11–12 students studying Japanese (ATAR / school assessments) with a focus on speaking + writing — the parts that actually lift your marks.
Ready for school year 2026?
I’m opening 2 spots only this year so I can support you properly.
What we’ll do in lessons (60 mins)
Writing feedback & corrections (essays, short responses, school tasks)
Speaking practice (role plays, responses, fluency + accuracy)
Use-case ideas for new grammar you’re learning at school (how to actually use it naturally)
Topic/theme brainstorming + building stronger answers
Practice with similar themes so you feel confident in assessments
How it works
Bring your school materials (assessment task sheets, class notes, rubrics, past work, vocab lists). I’ll tailor the lesson to what you’re doing at school — no random textbook lessons.
Important note
I don’t usually teach grammar from scratch (e.g., beginner-level basics).
This is best for students who already have the fundamentals and want to level up performance.
I’ve supported Year 12 ATAR students before and I love helping students feel confident and prepared.

Native Japanese speaker who grew up and worked in Japan, she knows both language and culture really well. Really nice teacher for anyone at beginner level or up to high level like N1 or practical business.
Furthermore, since she used to halp her parents's kinds English school, she has great skills to deal with children.
Personally my favorite for her is that she is always on time.
I recommend to contact her to if you have any specific requests. As her sister, I know her for my entire life and i can assure you’ll have a great lesson with Aiko who’s friendly and cheerful.
You can learn not only the language, but she also knows a lot about Japanese society and culture, and with her English being fluent, you’ll learn a lot about Japan even if you’re a beginner in Japanese.
She’s also a good teacher for children, as she can provide lots of games and creative way to have fun while learning the lanuage.I highly recommend Aiko! With a warm and calm personality, students can feel comfortable expressing themselves.
Aiko herself has experience mastering English as a second language, which gives her a deep understanding of the challenges of language acquisition.
Moreover, she also has extensive experience as a management consultant, which supports her clarity and effective teaching.
I have known Aiko for several years now and respect her not only as an English teacher but also as a person.
I’m sure Aiko will be your best teacher ever!I have known Aiko for many years now, and I can really vouch for her! She has a talent for languages and speaks English and Japanese fluently. Her soft, calm and kind personality makes her a great teacher. She is always patient and is there when you need help. I always ask for help when I need help with my Japanese studies and Aiko makes sure to make me understand fully. I can vouch for her and recommend her to any students - young, old, beginners or advanced!
