About Karsen
Hi! I’m a dedicated nursing student with a strong passion for learning, communication, and helping others succeed. Through my experience in college, I’ve developed strong writing, grammar, study, and time-management skills that I’m excited to share with my students.
I understand that school can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you’re struggling with a subject. That’s why I focus on creating a welcoming, patient, and judgment-free environment where you can ask questions and learn at your own pace.
I take pride in being dependable, professional, and committed to each student’s success. I’ll work with you to understand your goals, explain concepts clearly, and help you build the confidence and skills you need to succeed—not just for one assignment, but for the future.

As a tutor, my goal is to make learning English feel simple, comfortable, and personalized to each student. I use clear explanations, examples, practice questions, and conversation to help students understand the material rather than simply memorize it.
A typical lesson starts by identifying what the student is struggling with and what they want to accomplish. We’ll review the topic together, work through examples, practice with guidance, and then allow the student to try independently. I’ll provide feedback throughout the lesson and adjust my approach based on their needs.
What sets me apart is my experience as a nursing student, which has taught me strong communication, writing, studying, and time-management skills. I understand how overwhelming school can be, so I strive to be patient, encouraging, and easy to work with. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while they learn.
My lessons are designed for students of various ages and levels, including middle school, high school, and college students. I can help with grammar, writing, reading comprehension, vocabulary, essays, assignments, and improving overall English confidence. I am especially happy to work with students who need extra support or want a more personalized learning experience.
Currently, I am offering Monday through Wednesday virtual sessions, each lasting 1 hour to 2 hours long based on personal preference and needs.
