About Lim
As a passionate and results-driven tutor, I tailor my lessons to follow the school’s syllabus closely, ensuring students stay on track and ahead of their peers. I guide them through content using mind maps to help them form meaningful connections between concepts, which boosts long-term retention. My main teaching method involves consistent practice — I provide free exam papers to reinforce learning and build exam confidence. Each lesson typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours, giving enough time for in-depth learning and clarification. Academically, I’m a recipient of the NUS Merit Scholarship and have consistently excelled in national exams, scoring straight As across my A-Levels, O-Levels, and PSLE. I currently teach students from Primary 1 to 6 (English, Math, Science), Lower Secondary (English, Math, Science), and Upper Secondary (English, A-Math, E-Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography), and I always aim to bring energy, structure, and encouragement to every session.
