About Emily
I have been singing and playing instruments since I was tiny, music has shaped most of my life and I love sharing my passion with other people.
After earning Distinctions in Grade 8 on Oboe and Recorder, I decided to study Music at University.
I was a Singing Teacher for Stagecoach for 3 years whilst studying for my Bachelor of Music. I then moved to Oxford where I was a Singing Teacher for West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts and an Oboe, Recorder and Singing Teacher for Oxfordshire County Music Service. I also ran various choirs around Oxfordshire and worked as a Musical Director for youth performing arts groups.
I also have a DipLCM and a Masters in Musical Theatre from Guildford School of Acting.
Please feel free to send me a message with any questions, I can't wait to work with you!

Emily is an absolute star!
She is very talented, friendly, patient, all qualities which make her an amazing teacher. She is one of the most patient, hardworking people I know. She will do anything to ensure you have the best session possible and will push you to thrive. She is also incredibly talented. Not only this, but she is a fantastic listener, and will allow you to air any concerns you may have.
Emily was a fantastic teacher, and adapted superbly to having to teach over Zoom, still making it very enjoyable and beneficial. She also a brilliant musician in her own right!
Emily is an excellent musician with a real passion for musicality and creativity that is infectious in her lessons. She has a great nature with children, and is patient, attentive, and nurturing. She has put on fantastic concerts and has a wealth of knowledge. I would thoroughly recommend Emily for instrument and singing tuition.
