About Amna
I’m a motivated medical student who loves research, working with my community, and sharing what I’ve learnt along the way. Outside of medicine, I’m a huge book nerd—especially historical fiction—and will happily get sidetracked chatting about stories that bring the past to life. I know firsthand how valuable student tutors can be, because their advice helped me get into medicine on my first try. Now, I want to give back by supporting students in the same position I was just two years ago. I’d describe myself as hardworking but easy-going, and I aim to make lessons encouraging, insightful, and even a bit fun.

I turned 3 out of 4 medical school interviews into offers—let me show you how. I make every lesson student-focused and adapt my teaching to what works best for you. If you need help with A-levels, I’ll show you how to study smarter with active recall, effective note-taking, and smart use of past papers and mark schemes to push your grades higher. If you’re preparing for medicine, I can guide you through uni-specific interview practice and share the strategies that helped me secure 3 out of 4 offers on my first try. I’ll also support you in writing a personal statement that feels unique and genuinely shows why you stand out as a future medic.
