About Marleen

My name is Lilly, I am originally from Germany but have been living in Ireland the past nine years. My passion is yoga, feeling good in your own body and helping others in improving their lives.

I have been practicing yoga the past six years and became in December 2019 a qualified yoga teacher in New Zealand.During the last 1.5 years I gained lot experience in teaching online, but I was also lucky to hold a lot classes in nature.

About the lesson

Hello beautiful Soul :)

Yoga is a wonderful form to reconnect with your body and soul.

The yoga style we practise is Hatha Yoga.

Usually when I ask friends or colleagues to join one of my classes the most common answer is "Oh no, I am not flexible at all, I will be a fool doing it", which is very unfortunate as yoga is not about being flexible. Yoga is about feeling your body and your breath, strengthening your muscles and feeling good - mentally as well as physically. And over time you will start to become more and more flexible but rest be assured it is not the main goal of yoga practice.

I have been practicing yoga the past six years and became in December 2019 a qualified yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance).

My class is build in three stages.
First we will be doing some grounding and breathing work, followed by the actual yoga practice. At the end of the class we will be doing a short mediation and relaxation.

Class lasts usually an hour and is for all levels.

Looking forward to meet you

It’s been a year since I started Lilly’s classes and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my physical and mental health. Lilly always listens to her students’ needs and her classes are always gentle on the body, while still being challenging. For example, I have knee problems and she always finds alternatives so I can still enjoy the classes to their fullest. Each session also includes a guided meditation, which is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with myself after a day of work.
