About Jensen
I am a medical student at University College London (UCL) with a strong academic background and a clear, structured approach to teaching. I achieved A*AA at A-level (Biology A*) and Grade 9s at GCSE in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I received Medicine offers from multiple top medical schools in the UK. As a tutor, I focus on helping students perform confidently in high-pressure academic and interview settings. My teaching style is calm, organised, and results-driven, with an emphasis on clarity, exam or interview technique, and steady improvement over time. I have experience supporting students across a range of levels, including 11+ preparation, GCSEs, A-levels, and medical school interviews. I understand the demands of the UK education and admissions systems and tailor my support closely to each student’s goals and starting point. Professionalism and reliability are central to my approach. Lessons are well-planned, punctual, and focused on measurable progress, and students receive clear feedback and guidance after each session. I aim to create a supportive but focused learning environment where students feel confident, challenged, and well-prepared to succeed.

My medical interview lessons are highly structured, results-driven, and tailored to the UK admissions process. Sessions are designed to improve both what students say and how they say it, with a strong emphasis on clarity, structure, and confidence under pressure. Teaching approach and methodology: I use a framework-based approach to interview preparation. Students are taught clear structures for common interview domains including: motivation for medicine ethical scenarios communication and empathy teamwork and leadership NHS knowledge and current issues Lessons involve guided practice, realistic interview questions, and targeted feedback. I focus on refining answer structure, depth, and delivery, helping students avoid generic responses and develop concise, high-quality answers that score well in both MMI and panel formats. Students receive actionable feedback after each session, with clear priorities for improvement. Lesson format and length: Typical lesson length: 60 minutes Lessons are one-to-one and online Sessions can focus on full mock interviews, specific stations (e.g. ethics or data interpretation), or overall technique depending on the student’s needs Qualifications and experience: Medical student at University College London (UCL) Successful UK medical school applicant who received multiple offers Strong understanding of current MMI and panel interview formats Experience supporting students with structured interview preparation and confidence-building My lessons are suitable for: UK medical school applicants Students preparing for MMI or panel interviews Applicants at any stage of preparation, from beginners to those seeking final polishing before interview I work best with students who are motivated and looking for clear guidance, honest feedback, and measurable improvement.

Jensen has always shown an interest in tutoring and showcases good teaching skills too. He listens well and is able to teach to the needs of the student. He communicates kindly and makes sure to be careful with the pace he teaches at. He can explain complex topics simply and is consistently supportive throughout
Jensen’s coaching me for my medicine interviews - I feel so much more confident about my upcoming ones, and one I’ve already done because of his help.
Jensen is a good communicator and has done very well for himself academically, making him an ideal tutor.
