About Michael
I learned Spanish on-the-job. I am White/Caucasian, but I was able to be immersed for about 8 years working for a contractor who specializes in flooring. I was on a carpet-installing team and all of my coworkers were from Mexico and Guatemala. English was rarely spoken, so I learned fast, and I've kept up on it. At a local Junior College, I took Spanish Conversation, and then Spanish 101. These classes were extremely easy for me, to the point I think I could handle instructing those curriculums myself.
