About Kimiya

Hello! My name is Kimiya, and I am a lawyer called to the Ontario Bar on June 23, 2026. Having recently completed the licensing process myself and successfully passed both the Barrister and Solicitor examinations on my first attempt, I understand firsthand the challenges that candidates face when preparing for the bar exams.

In addition to my legal training, I have over four years of experience tutoring students for the LSAT, helping them develop effective study habits, test-taking strategies, and confidence under pressure. Through years of teaching, I have learned that success on standardized and professional examinations is not just about knowing the material—it’s about understanding how to approach the exam strategically.

My bar exam coaching focuses on practical techniques that improve speed, organization, and confidence. I help students learn how to navigate the licensing materials efficiently, develop effective tabbing and highlighting systems, manage their time under exam conditions, and avoid the common mistakes that cost valuable marks.

I recently passed both the Ontario Barrister and Solicitor licensing examinations on my first attempt and will be a licensed lawyer on June 23, 2026. Like many candidates, I quickly realized that success on the bar exams is not about memorizing thousands of pages of material—it is about learning how to navigate the materials efficiently, manage your time, and approach questions strategically.

Through my own preparation, I developed practical techniques that allowed me to pass both exams without reading every page of the licensing materials. I now help candidates develop the same skills so they can write with confidence and maximize their chances of success.
