About Leo
Have you ever wondered why even the best students struggle to apply core concepts under pressure? Scoring 520 plus on the MCAT required me to refine my own approach, which eventually led me to 2 years of full-time teaching. I help students handle elimination reactions, carboxylic acids, IUPAC nomenclature, amines, and radical reactions.
My background as an MIT PhD student in Organic Chemistry and a medical school candidate informs how I explain curved-arrow notation, isomerism, alcohols and ethers, resonance, acidity, and reaction mechanisms. I enjoy long-distance running in my free time to clear my head.
