Hello! I am an open-ended, creative teacher, who is really empathetic and kind. I have worked with all ages throughout my many years of teaching. I know that if a child/student is coming to me for academic help or knowledge I am aware that many times the subject they are to focus on is not their favorite. I remember this well from when I was in Middle School and struggled with math. Having fun while learning was key for me, and I see that is true for students as well.
I not only teach all subjects, I also teach Art for people of all ages and abilities. I teach lifelong learning classes (art and movement therapy) at the community college level. I believe in Equity, have been trained in Social Justice, and I value all walks of life.
