About Joseph
Hi, My name is Joe. I am a Masters of Chemistry graduate from the University of Oxford.
Whether you are a high achieving student hoping to excel or a struggling student hoping to improve you grade, my experience teaching coupled with strong understanding in maths and chemistry insures that my lessons are tailored to suit your needs.
Acing maths and chemistry is all about practice questions and targeted revision. During my studies, I have gained extensive experience tutoring maths and chemistry from GCSE up to university level.

During my time helping GCSE, A level and Oxford students I have learnt that there is no single way which works for all students and that it is necessary to find a process that works for you. My lessons will at first follow a set format typically being 1 hour and involving a mixture of questions and a summary of key topics. I will also cater specifically to your needs as a student, rather than just following a specific formula that may not work for you.
My lessons are designed for A level Chemistry and Maths students of any ability along with undergraduate chemistry.
Experience as a tutor:
- Tutoring for 3 years at Words and Numbers matter, a charity that focused on teaching students with SpLDs Maths and English.
- Tutoring Chemistry at A level and University level.

-Personal statement and Oxford Interview tutoring
- Mentoring of A level students for Oxbridge interviews.
- Guiding and helping Oxford students understand key concepts in the undergraduate course.
