About Emily
I am an Oxford-educated tutor who provides tailored tuition in humanities subjects for primary school, high school and university students.
My specialty areas are History, Politics, English and English Literature, as well as essay writing and general study skills. I also tutor IELTS, ESL and competitive school/ university entrance exams.
I am available for tutorials in-person or online.

My approach is rigorous but empathetic and based on over five years of experience, most recently with Carfax Education in Russia, Dubai and London. I am especially good with shy students and, as a reformed slacker myself, with those who need a little extra motivation.
I will do an initial evaluation of the student and their requirements, and then tailor a program to ensure that they can meet their specific academic goals, in consultation with the student and their parent/ guardian.
