About Jake
After reading for an undergraduate degree in Literae Humaniores (Latin, Ancient Greek and ancient Literature and Philosophy) at the University of Oxford, I moved into tutoring due to a passion for passing on knowledge and skills to others.
As well as teaching and tutoring, I am a professional singer, conductor, and singing teacher.

My teaching method is flexible, and I tailor it to each student. So, my approach all depends on what works for you. No mass-produced teaching or tuition here - you get something tailored to your wants and needs, delivered in a supportive and nurturing way!
With the Latin language, it is important to be disciplined and logical, as structure is vital to the language - I will help you to hone such skills and help you find ways to remember difficult vocabulary and grammar principles more efficiently.
