Oxford Graduate and TEFL-Certified Tutor with Six Years' Experience Teaching Business and Academic English

Ailill gave me history grinds during the leaving cert (Ireland) which helped me get into film school. Thanks a million.

I know Ailill through a mutual friend. He was two years above me at Trinity and gave me several months’ lessons in essay structure and research. It’s improved my grade average from 2:1 to 1:1.

Áilill was super helpful when it came to walking me through the entire Trinity application process. He assisted me in my personal essay and gave me a perspective on TCD that only a past student could do.

Áilill was extremely helpful in helping me improve my writing, especially in pursuance of admission to Harvard Law School. Now at Harvard, the value of the hours Áilill spent with me is tangible. I have had the privilege of learning from the world's leading legal scholars. Writing essays used to be an extremely stressful ordeal for me but now I write essays with ease. Áilill truly is a wordsmith, but also a kind and patient teacher.

I came to Aillil when I was applying for colleges after my year out. I wasn’t sure what was a good fit for me and I knew I wanted to aim high for a degree I’d be passionate about. After a good conversation (he’s a great listener!) and thorough planning, we submitted an application to the Trinity College Dublin - Columbia Dual BA program. Aillil helped coach me for my interview, and when I got my decision letter he was the first person I told! I’m delighted to have had his help, and would recommend him to anyone aiming high and looking to make their dreams a reality.
