About Geena
I'm a fourth-year medical student at the University of Oxford. I graduated with a First Class BA in Medical Sciences, ranked 11th of 149 in my year. I achieved A* in A-Level Physics, Maths, Biology and Chemistry, plus an A* EPQ, and scored 3360 on the UCAT (top 1%). I've published first-author research in neuroscience.
I've tutored since 2022, with more than 1,000 hours and 20+ students. I remember how stressful exams felt, so I keep lessons calm, structured and encouraging. I'm patient and clear, and I like to understand how each student thinks before deciding how to teach them.
Physics underpins much of medicine, from imaging to how nerves and the heart conduct electrical signals. I bring in real examples like these to make abstract topics easier to picture.
I work especially well with students who find the maths in physics daunting, lack confidence, or are aiming for top grades and competitive courses like medicine.

I help students build a real understanding of physics, from mechanics and electricity to fields and waves. I focus on intuition first, then teach a clear, repeatable method for tackling multi-step problems with confidence.
Lessons are for GCSE and A-Level students on any exam board (AQA, OCR, Edexcel). Each one-hour online session combines worked examples with past-paper practice, focusing on problem-solving, rearranging equations, units and exam technique. We start by finding your weaker areas, then work through them in a structured plan, with practice set between lessons if you'd like it.
