About Izzi
I’m Izzi, an undergraduate at the University of Oxford. I have just completed the three year the Biomedical Sciences degree and am going on to a masters. Having taken GCSEs and A levels, I know first-hand how it feels to be on these courses. I have experience tutoring students struggling with the content as well as the exam questions. Whether you find a topic insurmountable and want to start from the basics, or are perfecting your understanding to achieve the highest grades, I’d love to help! I took A Levels in Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, and English Literature, so have an excellent understanding of these subjects at a level higher than GCSE. From GCSEs to my current degree, I’ve developed great efficient revision techniques which I share with my tutees.

Hi, I’m Izzi! I am a Biomedical Sciences student at the University of Oxford. I tutor students GCSE science in the format of hour-long online sessions. Focusing on your individual needs, I personalise each session in order to build a strong understanding of content and confidence approaching exam questions! I can help those who find the course/exams very difficult to understand, as well as students aiming for top grades. The best way to learn a subject is to enjoy it! For this reason, I make my lessons as interesting as possible. Exam mark-schemes are notoriously tricky to master, so exam questions and revision methods can be covered in my sessions. About me: I have just completed my first year of Biomedical Sciences undergraduate course at the University of Oxford, earning a distinction. I achieved 9 GCSEs at grade 9 and a free-standing mathematics qualification. I have 4 A levels, including an A* in Biology and Mathematics, as well as an A in both English Literature and Chemistry. I have experience tutoring biology, mathematics, and GCSE combined science: my previous tutees have been inspired to choose subjects for A Levels that they were previously struggling with at GCSE due to our time together. I have also given lessons covering revision techniques.

Izzy is a fantastic tutor. Her knowledge of the topics and curriculum is extremely thorough. Izzy is very structured in her approach and found ways to engage my daughter who initially didn't want a tutor. My Daughter improved by 3 grades in around 7 months. Highly recommended.
Izzi is the kindest, most patient tutor. She has a natural analytical ability to see how my daughter learnt best and Izzi then applied her own outstanding subject knowledge to truly inspire my daughter in their lessons. My daughter’s GCSE grades went from 5s to 8s and 9s. But the biggest boost was to her confidence which became sky high thanks to Izzi. I could not recommend Izzi more highly.
Izzy was our daughter’s tutor for both maths and English. Our daughter lacked confidence and struggled to catch up with the level of maths required. Izzy was always very well prepared for the lessons and kept the enthusiasm throughout the lesson. Izzy tutored our daughter for a year and is now exceeding both in English and Maths. I couldn’t recommend Izzy enough!
Izzi has an excellent track record of exam results throughout her education career. She uses her substantial tutoring experience to adjust thoughtfully to the individual needs of different students. Izzi delivers well structured technically sound sessions, that foster confidence and motivation.
