About Krista
"Completing a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Georgia Tech provided the technical foundation for my 13 years of industry work. Being a practitioner who switched into this field means I teach data science with a focus on real workplace tasks. I help students navigate pandas and NumPy, Jupyter notebooks, feature engineering, and data visualization.
My daily work involves statistics for data science and SQL for analytics to solve messy problems. Working with career changers keeps the technical work fresh and engaging. It is genuinely fun to see someone solve their first complex data pipeline problem."
