About Kate
I am a left-handed knitter, meaning that traditional knitting techniques did not initially work for me. Through persistence and experimentation, I taught myself how to knit left-handed and have been building my skill repertoire each year, from cables to colourwork. As a plus-sized person, I have also looked to design my own patterns to fit my body and make me feel confident. I hope to help you do the same!

I use a student-first methodology, encouraging exploration with different proven knitting techniques (both Continental and English knitting) while encouraging students to create projects they can be proud of. Beginner-friendly to advanced, subjects covered range from stitch techniques to personalising patterns. Personal background in children's education, so all ages welcome!
