About Shaif
I am a confident, multi-skilled and capable person with excellent knowledge of teaching accounting and business studies. Furthermore, I have developed outstanding communication and engagement skills through my study and work experience. Achieving a doctoral degree, a first-class (Hons) graduate and an MBA in Business Administration helps to develop outstanding knowledge of cost accounting, financial accounting, business strategy, corporate social responsibility (CSR), leadership. I have experience of teaching at the university level, where students were engaged and came to discuss with me even after the class.
I try to identify students need and provide support accordingly. Furthermore, I value students and their parents feedback to meet their expectations. Furthermore, to enhance my teaching skills, I attended a workshop on “Postgraduates who Teach: An Introduction to Teaching in Higher Education” at the University of the West of Scotland. I learned about how to enhance my knowledge of teaching individuals, small and large groups, as well as being aware of different student assessment feedback and student evaluation.
I was also a student representative during the doctoral programme, where I demonstrated excellent leadership in dealing with other people.
My objective is to make a contribution to teaching and build a long-term career in academia with a strong focus on business, accounting, human resource management and CSR.
