Hey, I'm Lochlan! A passionate and eager tutor for anyone wanting to improve their ability in maths and physics. I aim to enhance every student's ability and confidence through effective and engaging teaching methods that allow the student to fully realise their potential.

|- How will I teach? -|
• Every single student has different strengths and weaknesses. My lessons are also therefore different for every student to ensure that I cater to their personal needs and weaknesses
• My lessons will aim at identifying weaknesses and thoroughly improving them, whilst also reinforcing any strengths.
• I will go through all of the content in the syllabus of the subject, keeping track of progress and regularly testing the student on certain topics through an organised system. This helps keep a detailed understanding of the ability of the student
• I teach in an effective and interactive style whilst engaging with the student to ensure they progress with haste and confidence. This will involve:
• Teaching fundamental ideas and concepts rigorously and expanding upon them over time.
• Regular Active recall - Scientifically proven to drastically improve memorisation of key points
• Practice exam-syle questions to prepare the student in the best possible way for exams
• Engagement with the student. A pragmatic approach will make certain that the student will
confidently grasp key concepts
• I believe that concepts are best understood when provided with a practical application and an understanding of when they are used, so I aim to bring lessons to life by applying these concepts to the real-world
